Both were always presented to me by my parents as the "most violent movies ever made."

I absolutely loved A Clockwork Orange and have watched it multiple times. The Exorcist is an amazing movie. There's a great documentary recently released on Friedkin and how he directed the movie, "Leap of Faith: William Friedkin on ‘The Exorcist'", you should watch it!
