What happens when you search for “republican” in Unsplash? I wanted to find an image to illustrate an article to come, so I naturally used the native Unsplash function on Medium and searched for “republican.” The results were interesting, to say the least:

Three out of the nine pictures suggested on the first page (and out of 31 in total, so 10% of the lot) display a single letter: Q.

While there are only 2 official QAnon believers in Congress, both GOP members, of course, it seems that the algorithms have already internalised the two movements' merger.
